Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Claims Examiner - Workers
Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Investigates and settles complex claims using independent
judgment
Manages investigative activities and directs litigation strategy
with legal counsel
Establishes reserves, authorizes payments, and prepares claims
activity reports for clients and management
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
4-8 years of technical claims investigations/settling experience in
Claims or a similar organization
Workers Compensation (WC) Adjuster License required according to
jurisdictional requirements
Ability to work independently while assimilating various technical
subjects
Industry designations such as IIA, AIC, AEI and/or CPCU are
preferred
