2ndShift.

Pay Rate is 13/hr

Job Title: Molding Technician

Reports To: Group Lead - Molding

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Inspect / document tooling condition prior to running

Log into ERP system

Operate all Injection Presses

Operate all Compression Presses

Understand ASTM standard on all governed molded products

Operate all rubber goods testing equipment according to applicable ASTM standard

Fill out daily control chart / update Visual Management work cell score board

Systemically transfer goods from one step to another in ERP system

Operate to control parameters / stop job if process goes bad

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or group lead

Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:

Basic computer skills

Ability to read manufacturing specifications and drawings

Ability to work as part of a team

Excellent performance and attendance record

Fast learner

Must have the ability to be cross trained in all production equipment

Experience/Education Required/Sought:

High school diploma or GED (3 years experience in the Chicago/Skokie plant may be substituted for educational requirement).

1 to 3 years experience in manufacturing facility.

Forklift license or certification required.

Work Environment:

Comply with Safety Guidelines
