Job Summary:

Wellness Peer Educator



Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



  • Enrolled at Elgin Community College
  • Good Academic Standing
  • Pursuing a degree in Health and Wellness Management, Physical Education or Personal Training Certificate.
  • Enthusiastic, energetic, creative, outgoing, good communication, knowledge of Microsoft works, schedule flexibility, good customer service and professional office skills.
  • Resume required





    Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:







    Essential Duties:



  • Promotion and marketing of upcoming events and seminars (Tabling at various locations on campus).
  • Create materials and displays for Wellness Tips and Healthy Marketing.
  • Promote healthy lifestyle behaviors and responsible health habits.
  • Promote education regarding use and distribution safe sex health and strategies.
  • Act as referral agents to promote wellness services/educate students on available resources for students
  • Responsible for Student Health 101 publication of monthly online magazine
  • Responsible for production of monthly Student Health 101 video
  • Create programming to promote physical wellness
