Job Description:

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Therapist II.
Key Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose mental health and/or substance use disorders using evidence-based assessments
Provide therapeutic interventions and psycho-educational programming to assist patients and families in achieving their goals
Manage care to ensure patients and families are referred to appropriate healthcare and community resources

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Master's Degree, Ph.D., PsyD, EdD in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling, Substance Use Disorders, or a related field
Two years of experience in mental health/substance use disorder treatment and psychoeducational programming
Expertise in cognitive, mindfulness-based, and contemplative therapeutic practice is preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire and Crisis Prevention Institute certification within 6 months of hire
Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP)
