• Required Certifications: AHA BLS, Unencumbered WI or Compact RN license

  • Registered Nurse, Operating Room
  • Guaranteed Hours per Week: 40hrs/wk
  • Shift Requirements: 4-10hr days 0650-1720 OR 0850-1920, depending on department needs.
  • 2 weeks of M-F 0650-1520 for orientation
  • Unit Specific Skillset: 14 OR's and 3 Special Procedure rooms (GI, oncology, dental), ENT, ortho, urology, gen. surg, craniofacial/plastics, neuro, eyes. We do cardiac but they wouldn't be expected to do cardiac
  • Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, social candidates.
  • Scrub Colors: any color just not all black
  • **Flu vaccine required. NO EXEMPTIONS**
  • Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed and orientation week.
    • Job Requirements
    • Minimum of 3 years OR experience required
    • PEDS experience is REQUIRED
      • Schedule Information
      • 4-10hr days 0650-1720 OR 0850-1920, depending on department needs.
      • On Call/Call-Back: Call is a minimum of 1 weekday per week and every 4th weekend (Friday end of shift-Monday 0700).
      • Float Requirements: to Surgicenter if needed
      • Call response time is 30 minutes
      • Weekends: call rotation only
      • Holidays: as needed; can include in house coverage on any shift; or 24-hour beeper call.

          • Additional Details
          • Jewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn.
