Job Description:

This incumbent will be responsible for providing oversight to the project and monitoring quality assurance and outcome management processes as well as work in conjunction with project partners for ongoing operational and programmatic needs.Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with partners/community stakeholders to carry out necessary programmatic elements; monitor project process and outcomes.
  • Carry out necessary project implementation measures and assure timeline adherence.
  • Work with project partners and stakeholders to shift or make changes in the program, as needed based on data indicators/performance measures.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly, yearly and final reports.
  • Assist in the development of a plan for regular (at least quarterly) dissemination of project progress to project staff, partners, and the community.
  • Serve as the point person on the grant award and make staffing, financial, and other decisions to align project activities with project outcomes.
  • Attend monthly calls with Grant/Technical Assistance Team and other Grant required calls.
  • Develop processes for achieving financial and programmatic sustainability beyond the period of performance.
  • Leverage partnerships at the local/community, state, and regional levels, including with rural counties and municipalities, health plans, law enforcement, community recovery organizations, faith-based organizations, and others to secure buy-in for the proposed project and ensure that it complements (versus duplicates) existing resources.
  • Track and collect aggregate data and other information from consortium members to fulfill grant reporting requirements, and use this data to support continuous improvement of services and activities.
  • Collaborate with clinical supervisor/s to recruit, train, mentor, and retain interdisciplinary teams of clinical and social service providers, to support an integrated approach to treatment.
  • Support the development of support services such as community organizations, mutual aid groups, and other resources and infrastructure to expand the availability of and access to programs.
  • Utilize workforce to provide support in various settings, including hospitals, emergency departments, law enforcement departments, jails, SUD/OUD treatment programs, and in the community.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director and/or Regional Chief Operating Officer.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Capable of communicating ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate a computer and operate Google applications.
  • Demonstrate good judgment and discernment in dealing with people.
  • Ability to work with information in a confidential manner.
  • Demonstrated strong time management skills demonstrating the ability to complete all required paperwork in a timely manner as well as manage multiple tasks.
  • Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain effective communications and working relationships with other associates, clients, family members, outside entities and the general public.
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain a positive attitude in the work environment.
  • Flexible, versatile and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment while maintaining effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Understand how to work with people of various socio-economic status with dignity.Experience and Education Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited college or university with Bachelor's degree in the Human Services, Business Management, administration, health management, or closely related field.
  • Experience managing staff and programmatic oversight.
  • Five years of demonstrated leadership ability, supervisory, and system management experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of clinical modalities in treatment of substance use disorders, including co-occurring disorders and ethical decision-making preferred.Supervisory Requirements:
  • Communicate the strategic direction of the organization and encourage participation by all team members.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to all aspects of the department.
  • Take an active role in monitoring the identification, development, and execution of strategic objectives.
  • Involve, as appropriate, all team members to achieve goals.
  • Effectively communicate to team members any changes and newsworthy events within the department or company.
  • Handle difficult team member situations directly, using appropriate discretion and Human Resource advice to show respect for the individual.
  • Champion change and effectively manage the implementation of new ideas.
  • Reinforce team approach throughout functions; support and solicit input from team members at all levels within the company.Employment Requirements:
  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check.
  • Completion of New Hire Orientation at the beginning of employment.
  • All training requirements including Relias at the beginning of employment and annually thereafter.
  • Current driver's license, acceptable driving record and current auto insurance.
  • First Aid certification within three (3) months of beginning employment and upon renewal date.
  • Obtain CPR certification within three (3) months of beginning employment and upon renewal date.
  • Extensive knowledge of the policies, procedures, and regulations of the program to which the associate is assigned.
  • Must provide evidence that incumbent is free of infectious and contagious disease, such as TB, prior to beginning employment and annually thereafter.
  • Annual maintenance of licenses, and certifications, if applicable.Physical Requirements:ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (exists up the 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (exists 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, or pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
